Michiana Cheap Eats lists individual restaurant meals priced at $10.00 or less in the South Bend and Mishawaka area, with a secondary filter for meals under $15.99.
Prices are gathered two ways. First, an automated agent reads menus that restaurants publish on their own websites. Second, signed in users take photos of menus at local restaurants and upload them. The app reads each photo and pulls out the prices for you.
Every price has a source. The app shows whether a price came from a website, a user photo, or an admin update. It also shows how confident we are in each price and when it was last checked. Prices can change at any time, so always check the menu at the restaurant before you order.
The service is free. It is a standalone consumer product and is not affiliated with any restaurant, the City of South Bend, or the University of Notre Dame.
